Editor's note: the fishing tackle professional committee recently took a delegation to participate in the European fishing tackle exhibition for two consecutive years, and set up a booth to publicize the work of the association and a domestic fishing tackle production base and brand enterprises, which led more Chinese enterprises to participate in the European fishing show. A recent article published by Angling International, an International journal of professional fishing gear, reflects the same problems faced by Chinese manufacturing in the world, which is increasingly recognized by the International community. But we must do our own thing. The President of the European fishing association has said that Europe should not view Chinese companies as a threat and that the association will continue to work with Chinese manufacturers at the European fishing tackle exhibition. In an exclusive interview with Angling International, Mr Pierangelo Zanetta insisted that it was the eu's responsibility to work with legitimate Chinese producers. His comments, seen as controversial, followed a complaint by Stephen Colvin of Eyelevel Sunglasses, a British company that was an exhibitor at the June European fishing show in Vienna, where the British company complained about unfair competition from the European fishing association's board allowing Chinese companies to participate. "We can't ignore the fact that most of the products at this show were made in China," Zanetta said. "our industry moved production to low-cost countries, and we can't cry now. It's really the same problem for any product. "If we see the far east as a danger we will have nowhere to go. We've taken a step that we can't go back. The responsibility of the anglers is to work with the Chinese producers' association so that we can promote 'good' companies and take tough action against 'bad' companies. This is the right strategy, and protectionism is too late. "These countries are getting richer and they will soon have the opportunity for European companies to sell their products," Zanetta added.
